Fight Climate Change

Record heat waves, droughts, wildfires, flash floods and cyclones are wreaking havoc on people and nature. Let’s mount a strong defence.

Climate change is the most significant environmental crisis of our time.

We have just emerged from the hottest year on record. In fact, the 10 warmest years on record have all occurred in the last decade—and things are not looking up. Researchers say there’s a 66% chance we will pass the 1.5 degrees Celsius global warming threshold in the next five years. This would be catastrophic for humanity and nature alike. Many species will face extinction due to global warming.

WWF-India is working to generate awareness about clean and efficient energy solutions and climate innovations, and mobilising communities to come together and take collective action for mitigating and adapting to climate change.

Support WWF-India to fight this climate crisis and become part of the solution.

Your support will help WWF-India:

Restore wetlands, which act as buffers against floods and droughts alike

Plant mangroves, which fortify our coastline against storm surges and erosion

Test and promote clean energy solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions

Make communities resilient with alternative livelihoods

Restore a variety of carbon sinks

Tackle plastic pollution
